Many people who have blogs about games have recently voiced the opinion that RPG.net--popular gateway to all branches of the tabletop gaming hobby--seems to have becoming increasingly hostile to visitors talking about games made before 1990 and mechanics and gaming styles inspired by them.
Well, Blair of the redoubtable Planet Algol sci-fantasy blog has decided to say a hail mary and make an attempt to make RPG.net safe for old school DIY RPGing.
We'll see how it goes---and maybe drop the purple pill and join in if you have something to say. Or read through if you are yet perplexed.
